About this condition
Vitiligo is slow, and repigmentation where it occurs takes many months. Patients are told that plainly at the outset rather than promised rapid results. Treatment aims first at halting spread, which is the more achievable goal, and addresses the associated thyroid disease that is present in a meaningful proportion of cases.
