Qualified in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery, and separately took a Bachelor of Pharmacy at the University of Peshawar. Few homeopathic practitioners hold a pharmacy degree; it is the reason drug interactions and existing prescriptions are read properly here rather than dismissed.

Held senior medical administrative responsibility at one of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s larger institutional health facilities, overseeing patient care systems rather than a single clinic list. Now retired from the post.

Consulting continuously across Peshawar, and more recently Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Principal clinical interest in nervous system disorders — stroke recovery, migraine, cervical dystonia, hemifacial spasm — alongside men’s health, rheumatology and chronic disease.
Teaching
18 recorded clinical lectures
Lectures on nervous system disease, materia medica, and remedy preparation from sarcodes and nosodes — medicines derived from micro-organisms, human tissue and allopathic drugs. These are subjects taught at college level, not routine prescribing content.

A homeopathic prescription does not follow from a diagnosis alone. Two patients with the same reported condition frequently need different remedies, because what determines the prescription is the pattern: when symptoms began, what aggravates or relieves them, how sleep, appetite, temperature and mood have shifted alongside. That is why a first consultation here takes time.
Your existing reports and prescriptions are read as part of that. Dr. Farooq’s pharmacy training means medication is assessed rather than ignored — and patients on treatment for diabetes, blood pressure, thyroid disorder, epilepsy or cardiac conditions are advised to continue it under their prescribing doctor.
You are told at the outset roughly how long treatment should take and when it will be reviewed. A chronic condition of many years does not resolve in a fortnight, and being told otherwise is a reason to be sceptical of any practitioner.
