- How long does homeopathic treatment take to work?
- It depends on how long the condition has been present. Recent, acute complaints often respond within days. Long-standing chronic disease — psoriasis, arthritis, thyroid disorder, PCOS — is usually treated over three to six months with periodic review. Dr. Farooq will give you a realistic timeframe at the first consultation rather than an open-ended course.
- Where do the medicines come from?
- The clinic dispenses from the established international pharmacopoeias — German houses such as Schwabe and Dr. Reckeweg, French laboratories including Boiron, British pharmacies such as Nelsons and Helios, and Indian manufacturers including SBL. Remedies are dispensed at the clinic rather than prescribed for you to source yourself, which avoids counterfeit stock.
- Can I take homeopathic medicine with my existing allopathic prescription?
- In most cases yes, and you should not stop prescribed medication on your own. Dr. Farooq holds a B. Pharmacy degree alongside his homeopathic qualification and reviews your current prescriptions as part of the consultation. Medication for diabetes, blood pressure, thyroid, epilepsy and heart conditions must be continued under your prescribing doctor’s supervision.
- Does homeopathic treatment have side effects?
