This is one of the conditions where treatment often succeeds without surgery. Every case differs, though — and if an operation is genuinely the right course, you will be told so plainly rather than kept on treatment.
About this condition
Piles, anal fissure and fistula are among the conditions patients most want to avoid surgery for, and early-grade piles and fissures frequently do settle with treatment, dietary correction and relief of constipation. Advanced prolapsed piles and established fistula are a different matter and will be referred honestly.
