Gangrene appears on the clinic’s printed condition list, and the patients who come are usually facing amputation. This is high-stakes territory: established gangrene is a surgical emergency and any supportive treatment must run alongside urgent vascular and diabetic care, never replace it. Early diabetic foot ulcers, caught before tissue dies, have far better prospects.

- Cold, pale, pulseless foot
- Fever with a limb wound
