Allergy appears on the clinic’s printed condition list and is a major seasonal burden in Peshawar and Islamabad, where spring pollen counts are severe. Treatment attends to the specific trigger, the time of year symptoms appear, and whether the nose, eyes, chest or skin dominates.

Sudden facial or throat swelling with difficulty breathing is anaphylaxis — an emergency requiring immediate hospital treatment.
